Imam Nadim Bashir has been a religious leader in the North Texas community for over 10 years. He is a graduate of a prestigious religious seminary in the United Kingdom and is pursuing further education in Islamic Divinity and Chaplaincy.

Imam Nadim recognized that Muslim special needs families were struggling to feel included and to find support. He has dedicated himself to building awareness of special needs and helping families in the Muslim community get connected with resources and education through his group, DREAM. DREAM stands for Disability Resources, Education, and Awareness for Muslims.

Imam Nadim is a proud father of four, and one of his beautiful daughters was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the age of 3 and is thriving as a 9 year old.

Catherine works with churches to equip ministry leaders to minister both to and with individuals and families living with mental health needs. Catherine is blessed to regularly interact with ministry leaders around the US and beyond, and can bring her depth of experiences, creative approach and insights to help you develop ministry or create a meaningful event.

I provide customized solutions to faith-based and secular organizations that support inclusion and belonging of people with disabilities and mental health conditions. Services include assessment, strategic planning, leadership/staff/community training, policy guidance, and advising/mentoring staff, leadership and volunteers.

I believe that needing to belong is inherent to all people. I literally wrote the book on belonging and inclusion!

At the Anabaptist Disabilities Network (ADN), we provide resources on disability, mental illness, faith, and the church via our website, our newsletter, and blog. We host webinars on various disability topics. We help congregations assess their own accessibility. We consult with congregations, families, and individuals about specific disability concerns. ADN staff and field associates are available to preach, teach, and lead workshops for congregations and conferences.

My education and experience as a woman with a physical disability has made me keenly aware of the need for holistic care including consideration of physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs.

Walk Right In Ministries is building faith and community with special needs families. Our focus is on supporting family caregivers. We offer in person and virtual caregiver consulting and peer discussion groups as well as biblically based teaching and counseling for individuals, marriages, and families impacted by disability.

Our caregiver consulting and counseling services are intended to be fully accessible to anyone who needs them. We have a sliding fee scale and a simple pay-as-you’re-able policy. Initial consults are always free.
